I’m pretty sure I wore permanent grooves into the sidewalk around WB since the writer’s strike first began in May. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude and admiration and downright awe for EVERY ONE of our remarkably dedicated, tireless, enthusiastic, fearless, committed, and inspiring Strike Captains, who held the lines and kept us safe and energized (and hydrated, and sunblocked, and fed, and first bumped, and and and…). Thank you to our beloved NegCom for the countless hours you put in fighting the good fight and securing the AI protections we needed to ensure that we will still have an industry to be part of. To all my @sagaftra & @wgawest & @iatse & @afmlocal47 & @teamsters brothers and sisters who KEPT FUCKING SHOWING UP, I’ll miss seeing (and “high-signing”) all of you every day.
