Murphy went into cardiac arrest, fell backwards and fractured his skull. His heart stopped for 18 minutes and he had virtually no chance of survival. Thanks to a miracle, quick help from doctors in the crowd, an AED next to the court, and Luke yelling encouragement, Murphy was able to make it to the hospital alive to begin his long road to recovery. We are all grateful for Murphy and the Jensen Brothers. When they are with us, there are “No Bad Days”. FYI- It was incredible seeing Django Walker and Pat Green perform at the opening gala of the San Antonio International Tennis Championships. Both guys donated their time to help raise money for the Bush Ace Outreach Kids’ Program. This song, “No Bad Days”, was co-written by Walker and one of my good buddies, James Slater. Murphy was in the room watching with us last night and we will be on the court playing doubles today.
