HYPEBEASTさんのインスタグラム写真 - (HYPEBEASTInstagram)「@hypeform: Take a look around this 19th-century farmstead in the Piemonte region of Northern Italy, which has been renovated by @jonathantuckeydesign. ⁠ ⁠ Having been previously renovated in the 1990s, the architects were tasked with bringing the building back to its original glory, while applying sustainable systems to ensure it ran as efficiently as possible. ⁠ ⁠ Every decision around the property was made in order to not to compromise its character. The studio is known for paying meticulous attention to craftsmanship and details – and it is evident throughout. The floors, for example, have been crafted using an ancient technique named "Cocciopesto", developed by the Romans. Lime, sand, and crushed fragments of the existing terracotta roof tiles were used to create a peppered finish across the floors. ⁠ ⁠ "We had the opportunity to create a poetic dialogue between the landscape and the home which had previously not been realized to its full potential," said Elena Aleksandrov, Associate at Jonathan Tuckey Design. ⁠ Photos: Francesca Iovene⁠」11月11日 23時55分
