Asking God to take me wherever He wants can be daunting, but only because I don’t trust Him fully. God has never lead me to a place I regret. I am responsible for my regrets. He is always trustworthy. He is always faithful to keep His promises. He promises to keep me and to lead me on a path of everlasting of life. Why wouldn’t I follow Him? Why wouldn’t I want to walk in the purpose that I was created for? Not only so I can be fulfilled, but also because I love Him. I love Him because He first loved me. So this prayer is my heart. I want to follow Him wherever He calls me, whatever it may look like. Yes, there is a cost. But there is a greater cost in rejecting Him. I would rather take up my cross and follow Him than to go my own way that seems right to me, but leads to death.
