I had kids before smart phones, iPads, 9/11 and didn’t know what the fuck was coming for them. I thought they’d be like me and look at newspapers for movie times. I also didn’t know what it would be like to be on my own with a teen and two adult children in an AI “I can’t tell if this is real or not” world. I’ve never learned to chill out. I don’t think I’ve had a chance. And now I’m an empty nester and it was all a fever dream. Posting these vids chills me. A little. I need more dopamine tho. I have decided to get into shape so I can live another 50 years and watch this earth melt. It’s boring to hear myself complain about aging knowing my Nan is ninety-six.
