Mere hours after landing in Kruger National park we had this incredible, serendipitous encounter after @brittmumma spotted this large male #leopard in the distance, casually sitting on an old road sign in the park. “Is that a leopard?” she said, more in rhetorical disbelief than an actual question. @tjtriage and I dumbly replied “I think?…Is it a statue?” Until we saw the flick of the tail as we drew closer in our rental car, the leopard took its sweet time, staring at us, it’s surroundings, before gracefully, pouncing down and melting into the thick brush.
