I’m a keen runner, and have previously completed a few marathons, but never an Abbott World Marathon Major, until this year’s @berlinmarathon. I have always wanted to complete one of the @wmmajors, and feel so privileged to finally have had the chance. The fact that I got to run in support of our Little Heroes program with @chainofhopeuk made it even more special. Our Little Heroes program supports children with congenital heart defects around the world, specifically in countries where access to the care these children need is limited. We provide life-changing technology and support to these children, and it’s endlessly inspiring. This program wants to give these children a chance to grow up, reach their full potential, and live their fullest lives – and that’s something I wanted to run for.
