森下陸幕長は、１１月１５日（水）、沖縄の米海兵隊基地キャンプ・ハンセンにおいて実施された第１２海兵沿岸連隊（#12MLR）発足式典に出席しました。
ＭＬＲは、対艦ミサイル部隊等を配備し、米海兵隊の新たな運用構想（#EABO）の中核となる部隊であり、地域における抑止力の強化が期待されます。
#陸上自衛隊は、引き続き、ハイレベル懇談や共同訓練を通じ、米海兵隊との連携を強化していきます。🇺🇸🇯🇵

GEN MORISHITA, CoS, JGSDF attended 12th Marine Littoral Regiment Redesignation Ceremony at Camp Hansen in Okinawa Prefecture on Nov 15. The #MLR is equipped with anti-ship missiles and serves as the core unit to carry out USMC’s #EABO, and is expected to strengthen deterrence in the region.
JGSDF will continue to strengthen cooperation with the USMC through high-level talks and bilateral exercises.🇺🇸🇯🇵
