House of Arras 2009 Made by the great Ed Carr - one of the best sparkling winemakers outside of Champagne. 2/3 Chardonnay & 1/3 Pinot & spent 9 years on lees. Incredible. 2. S.C Pannell ‘Protero’ A blend of gewürztraminer, riesling & sauv blanc from the Adelaide Hills in SA. And made by Steve Pannell - one of Australia’s absolute genius winemakers. 3. Unico Zelo River Sand Fiano 2021 Made by the super talented Brendan & Laura Carter this is epic Fiano from the heart of the Riverland in SA. This was once home to lot of bulk wine production, but now so many interesting wines are coming from the region. 4. Murdoch Hill Chardonnay 2022 Michael Downer is a superstar with Chardonnay (and Pinot & Shiraz). This is brilliant modern Australian Chardonnay for the Adelaide Hills that is pristine, beautifully balanced & intense. 5. Mulline Nouveau Pinot Noir 2022 One of the most exciting new labels in recent years comes from Ben Mullen & Ben Hine. From various sites around the Geelong region, this is bright & fresh Pinot - incorporating a small amount of old oak & some while bunches. Delicious. 6. Nick Spencer LDR 2021 From Gundagai & the Hill Tops regions of NSW, this is an amazing little blend of Pinot Noir, Sangiovese & Shiraz. Nick was influenced by a number of really old Australian wines from the 1960s that had lower alcohols/higher acidity & had stood the test of time. 7. Vasse Felix Tom Cullity Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Virginia Wilcock is my favourite winemaker in Australia. As Head Winemaker at Vasse Felix in Margaret River, she has played a massive roll in revolutionising Chardonnay in Australia as well as helping make Cabernet Sauvignon finer, more elegant and effortlessly stylish. The 2015 Tom Cullity is one the all time great wines from this estate & region.」11月24日 21時19分
