So instead let me take a moment to extol the virtues of our amazing animators on the show. Seeing this show come together over the last year has been astonishing to witness. Even with some first hand experience of animation in the past, it’s still been a delightful eye-opener to see the wizards at @sciencesaru in action.  I’m not going to lie and say that I was instrumental in getting this esteemed animation company onboard, that came from a mutual appreciation between them and @radiomaru, as well the introductions from Netflix and UCP. I also know how fucking over the moon Bryan and @bdgrabinski were when they came onboard. If you’ve seen the show you will agree that their work is just sensational. For my part, it was a total pleasure as executive producer to see this extraordinary animation become more and more finished week by week (and sometimes every other day). Seeing the updates felt like opening Christmas presents. So, let me sing those praises, firstly to Eunyoung Choi, Saru’s CEO and producer extraordinaire, as well as @aberukuma, the incredible series director. I don’t have the word court to include every single member of their amazing team in Japan, so let me say it was such a kick to finally meet some of them in person for press a few weeks ago. In some of the photos are Mokochan (Ep 3 Director and Opening Sequence Director), as well as head of PR Takumi Aoyagi and Rena Furuyam (Setting Manager and 107 Production Manager). Even cooler was that it was the first time in the USA for some of the Science Saru gang. Having them present, not only for the premiere at Vidiots, but also for the Egyptian screening of the original movie was really special.
