This beautiful Brown Falcon was brought into the Taronga Wildlife Hospital by a member of the public after being found with a suspected concussion and in very poor physical condition. Despite weeks of around the clock care from our dedicated veterinary team to treat the injuries and a concerning high white blood cell count, the birds condition did not improve and the decision was made to humanely euthanise this magnificent bird of prey. Although this is not the fairytale ending we had all hoped for, we rest assured our wildlife hospital team were able to allow the patient a warm and safe place for its end of life without suffering.
