@hypedrive: @rmsothebys’ is currently auctioning off two out of the three cars that make up “The Trinity." ⁠

Up first is the 2015 @Porsche 918 Spyder, which is reportedly one of only four produced in paint-to-sample Mexico Blue. The car is additionally number 488 of 918 total examples and has a production date of March 15, 2015. Onyx Black leather interiors are also included, featuring piping and other details in Acid while the cabin is further enhanced with the Carbon Fiber Interior Package. With only 1,844 miles under its belt, the 918 Spyder’s total output reaches 887 horsepower and 994 pound-feet of torque.⁠

The second car set to be auctioned is the 2015 @McLaren Automotive P1, which arrives with a unique Professor 2 Blue finish and comes complete with the window sticker and service invoices from McLaren Philadelphia. Only 375 P1s were ever produced and this one in particular was specially commissioned by its original owner in a unique shade which was reportedly finessed in hue and metallic grain several times before meeting the buyer’s standards. The car also comes with specially moded seats, similar to the ones used on the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, and is believed to be only one of two P1s that have this feature.⁠

Both cars are available for auction now with the Porsche estimated to sell between $1.9 million USD and $2.2 million USD while the McLaren is estimated between $2 million USD and $2.5 million USD.⁠
