It was on a Friday that a friend from my then-modeling agency said I could move into her spot since she was always at her boyfriend's place. The following Monday I moved everything I owned to this tiny apartment in Koreatown, & I’ve never looked back. I had $100 dollars to my name, an apartment overtaken by someone else’s belongings, & outlandishly big dreams. It was one of the happiest moments of my life: I was amongst my kind, & I was home. I had no clue of the intense highs & profound lows I would encounter, & I wouldn’t change a single second of it. I love this legendary & tarnished city, a stockpile of dreams and stories, & now one of them is mine.
