Earlier this year, I was going through some health issues and decided to cut out alcohol to focus on my overall wellness. Now, I'm coming up on one year without drinking.

What started with New Year's Eve turned into Dry January, and then it extended into another month. Weddings passed, along with many other events and holidays, even summer vacations. Throughout this time, my health improved, and I haven't felt the urge to drink again.

I've been nervous to share because I didn't want to say I'm sober. I just don't currently drink. Will I ever drink again? I'm not sure. Do I care if other people drink? No, there's no judgment here. It's just a personal choice I made. As time passed, I really wanted to make it to one year. I'm not suggesting that others should do the same, but if you're curious about it, I want you to know that it's been possible for me. 🤍
