Guilt is a central theme in Part Two, and an exceptionally powerful emotion. An emotion which may lead to the distortion of one’s perception of reality and even the most recent of events. A Man Like Me is the manifestation of this guilt, while Party for Two is the bargaining that precedes and coexists within it. I truly love these two songs and the people I wrote them with.
