Texas diary.. was invited to play for these lovely students on a Monday. Odd choice for a free show but.. Texas longhorns just whooped Oklahoma the day before so everyone was horny .. I pulled out a fit in my country closet booked a jet and did some physically therapy on plane. Landed went straight to stage and played an hour of tech house and something I made in the car called country hard style ? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Decided to try this Lynyrd Skynyrd remix . It kings worked. I'd say the crowd was 9.2/10.mayb even higher .. I have been to Austin every month this summer so some people asked if I bought a house here .I had a great time on stage and start my new hobby of smoking cbd cigarettes (this mighty technically be illegal) instead of drinking shots.. I'd give Mt new hobby a 3/10 it's better than vaping but probably not healthy but I do look cool on stage like some kind or electronic Waylon.. I jar been in the studio all weekend
My set .. maybe an 8 ? They def wanted the tech house (maybe slim thug or bf fisher was busy this week?) and I admit I did play skeeyee and it might have started a riot: I feel like I said "1/2/3 jump" like 7 times like it was ultra fest 2012 but I was in the moment.. that's why I'm gonna give myself a 7/10 rating (only that high) because I played demos from the car ride . As I was leaving the janitor said "what's up Diplo that was dope" and I noticed he had grills in and kept saying " we keep on shining " and I just left knowing Texas is a beautiful wierd magical place. And imma give the state at 9.8/10 for experience. And great Jamaican food by. B
