The Baba Fairy took all 5 of his sibling’s pacifiers for the new babies, and left them a small treat in their place. Nikolas was never interested in that. So yesterday I casually suggested that maybe our elves, Buddy and Belinda, could take his babas and bring him his chosen treat. If you’ve been following my stories, you will know that Niko is only interested in giant things, including asking for a lollipop from Santa that’s the size of our house. Niko has been very headstrong about everything and I was shocked when he agreed to letting the elves take his babas, but I am genuinely not surprised that not only did he make it through the night without crying or asking for his baba once, he then walked into preschool, and for the first time didn’t even say bye, or cry for me. And yes, the elves brought him a giant race track. Pretty sure they were even up until 1 AM building it and trashing the house. I really hope Santa can top this, considering modest precedents are now out the window. 😅」12月12日 4時06分
