This is a traditional Ethiopian Gonder dance (eskista)and outfit. Gondar, a historic city in the northern part of Ethiopia, is celebrated for its Fasil Ghebbi, a fortress-palace enclosure that was the home of Ethiopian emperors. Its centerpiece is the grand castle built by Emperor Fasilides in the 17th century, which is a unique fusion of Portuguese, Indian, and indigenous architectural influences. Nearby, the Debre Berhan Selassie church is famed for its intricate wall paintings and a ceiling adorned with numerous faces.
