Dry January is great for anyone sober-curious or anyone simply aiming to put their health at the forefront as they step into the new year. If you're joining in this month, here are some tips to help you get the most of your dry month:  1️⃣ It’s all in the mindset: if you choose to see it as a positive step then it will be a positive step. Really celebrate that you’re doing something great for your health and feel proud.  2️⃣ Educate Yourself: For me, education has been key! Books like "Quit Like a Woman," and “The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober” really transformed my perspective. "Huberman Labs" podcast is soo interesting! Dr Huberman talks about the science behind the effects of alcohol on the brain and body and honestly? I was SO SHOCKED! It really changed my outlook on alcohol and its impact.  3️⃣ Stay True to Yourself: If social situations feel challenging without a drink in hand, remember, it's not just okay but essential to put yourself first. Prioritise your well-being, comfort, and personal journey!  4️⃣ Discover Delicious Alternatives: You don’t have to miss out on having a drink that feels like a special treat. I love brands brands like @trip.drinks and @threespiritdrinks for delightful alcohol-free options. Whether you’re a wine or beer lover, there are so many tasty alcohol-free versions to try! My favourites are all saved in my alcohol-free highlight.  5️⃣ Find Support: Please remember you're never alone in this journey. Reach out to support groups, therapy, online courses, or fellow sober-curious people. I have made sober friends during my journey who are now friends for life!
