Believe it or not, this film changed my life. It inspired me on so many levels. I was an overweight, somewhat nerd of a kid but with big dreams to achieve the seemingly impossible, and this made me believe. It made me want to do something incredible, even if It was just once. But for that moment, to be brilliant. I used to watch it over and over again. I knew (and probably still) all of the words. I still watch it now, whether its rocky 1 or any of the sequels- it's a story of ups and downs. Of hope. Of real life. A reminder that at any point in life we can create opportunities if we dream big enough and are fearless in that moment when opportunity presents itself. I will always try to keep that underdog mentality and heart because I never want to lose that drive to be great. To go the distance. Even if in the end there's no guarantee that you'll win, at least u had the guts and heart to try. Thnku Sly Stallone!!! My unlikely role model!! Lol
