#healthyeverydamnday is coming to an end! A whole month of healthy eating - how did you guys do?? I officially had ONE WHOLE MONTH WITHOUT SUGAR!! I ate fruits etc (obviously) but no processed or added sugar or sugar substitutes in anything whatsoever. This is a HUGE accomplishment for me - I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world and like to have dessert with every meal. Even though I am a very healthy person overall, sugar has always been my nemesis. To be honest, I didn't feel any different at all the first two weeks into this challenge, just completely bummed out that I didn't get my daily dose of chocolate and vanilla soy lattes. But now... I feel great!! I used to get super grumpy as soon as I got hungry (probably from my blood sugar going up and down all day like a roller coaster) but now I feel way more balanced in between meals. Also, I'm not craving sugary stuff anymore! I used to get the weirdest sugar cravings at the weirdest times (anyone who knows me know I never ever say no to dessert/chocolate/cake/) and I'm an avid believer in eating what makes you happy so I would never hesitate but always munch down on whatever I wanted. The first weeks without it were tough, but now I actually don't really feel like having anything sugary at all! I'm impressed with my body's ability to change for the good. I know sugar is crap and so bad for my health so actually getting to a point where I honestly don't feel like eating anything full of sugar anymore is a huge relief. I'm so happy! I'm going to keep my sugar free new life going even after this challenge has ended (we'll see how long it lasts) - there is a definite change in my eating habits now and that was the main goal with this challenge. Go me! Now - how did you guys do? You kept up with your healthy eating and healthy goals for the month? Please share!
