@marcusbleasdale The Last of the #Viking #Whalers taken on assignment in February 2012 on board a #cod #fishing boat in the #Norwegian #Sea. Huge waves pound the vessel as she tries to lay nets during the famous #Lofotfiske. The area used to be full of boats and fishermen and their families, but increasingly children need to leave to continue their education as local school can not provide education and they never come back. On the island of #Rst only 3 boys have decided to stay and own their own boat in 17 years.
