On Nov. 11 1952, @ハワイアン航空 christened its first Convair aircraft. The new CV-340 planes had a price tag of more than half a million dollars, and were the first pressurized aircraft put into interisland service. They offered a much quieter ride with air conditioning, a top speed of 300 mph, and considerable room for cargo. #TBT
