(Origin of the name, whats unique about the group, and why does it exist?) Black Roses NYC is a curated urban running experience. We are a membership based collective of individuals who value a personal relationship with running in a group setting as well as having a connection and community-building with like-minded running crews around the world and a dynamic relationship with the unique culture of New York City. Our runners come from various backgrounds in running—from no experience, to being sub-elite runners. We have a particular focus on elevating Women’s running worldwide. I formed Black Roses NYC with my co-captain Knox Robinson in December of 2012 after having been a co-leader of the NYC Bridge Runners for several years. Black Roses in nature do not grow by chance—they are cultivated. Black Roses is also a classic reggae anthem by Barrington Levy. Black Rosesは新しい始まり(死＆再生)を象徴しつつ、女性にフォーカスをあてて作られました。 Black Roses(黒薔薇)は自然的に生える物ではなく、開拓／栽培して育つ植物です。さらにBlack RosesはBarrington Levyによるクラシックレゲエ・アンセムでもあります。 -> #xRunJournal #gloryapparel
