October 15th 1983 (this is the debut episode of O'bryan's remix of the "Soul Trains A Comin" my personal favorite theme of the show---yes even above the iconic Gamble & Huff theme) I also consider this the debut episode of the show in its "in the zone"/mid 90s Chicago Bulls can't do no wrong/let's try everything phase of 84-87 (the guests, the dances, the music, the production, the theme, the animation bumpers....yeah the women too were all on point!)
