As I took Tyler for a walk today I came across this. These two "monuments" are actually remaining structural components of the Twin Towers buildings that were destroyed on this very day, 12years ago. At this site, in Weehawken, hundreds if not thousands of victims were held, helped and attended to by the local emergency services whilst NY tried to deal with the horror that had offered across the river. It shocks me how we can do this to each other. I don't wanna read any racist bullshit under this post about war or terrorism, so kindly refrain from it. This is just me sending my love to those families that were destroyed by a purely horrific act 12 years ago. I still can't believe that really happened. #RIP
