Recruits of Platoon 3065, Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, await the next command during their initial drill evaluation July 15, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C. Close-order drill helps transform recruits into Marines by developing teamwork and unit cohesion.
