A Reconnaissance Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, rappels from an MV-22 Osprey that is anchored to the flight deck of the USS Boxer. The Marines were practicing rappelling techniques in preparation for future exercises on the deployment. The 13th MEU is deployed with the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
