The January jobs report ended up being a mixed bag. The U.S. economy created just 113,000 jobs, less than the 185,000 expected. The unemployment rate fell to 6.6%, the lowest since October 2008. And while the labor force participation rate ticked up slight, it’s still around 36-year lows.
