At a depth of nearly 600-feet, the submersible DeepSee descends into the caldera of an ancient, dormant volcano on Las Gemelas seamount, located 500-miles off the pacific coast of Costa Rica.
Photographed for the 2012 story Mountains in the Sea in @ナショナルジオグラフィック and featured in the upcoming NGM Ocean Soul exhibit at Photofest in Querétarao, Mexico opening in March.
