We lost a legend last night. So many of us know Shirley Temple as a famed child actor who brought joy to cinema. But she was also a fascinating woman & dedicated activist. After retiring from movie making, she embarked on a new journey as a foreign diplomat: She served in the U.S. delegation to the United Nations from 1969 to 1974 was U.S. ambassador to Ghana from 1974 to 1976, and U.S. ambassador to Czechoslovakia from 1989 to 1992. She used her voice to being attention to people and places that needed it. And she even beat breast cancer in the 70's. What a lady. What a legend. #ShirleyTemple #RIP
