Here is one of the legendary #Panerai that just does something for me. The PAM36 limited to 200 pieces ever made features a Titanium Case and Chocolate brown dial and is one of the few Panerai watches that are known as “4-Liners”. This refers to the 4 lines of text on the face dial. One of the very few pieces to feature the Marina Militare distinction that Paneristis swoon over.
This piece has a bit of funny history in that it was shown at SIHH in 1999 and released that same year and has a “B” Serial number even though throughout most of the companies paperwork and documentation they regard this piece’s birth year as 1998. This still is one of the mysteries of the legendary PAM36.
The PAM36 features the very coveted T-Dial which contains tritium indexes which has a vintage look that yellows over time. You will notice the little T's on either end of the Swiss text under the 6 on the dial. We all are aware that tritium was eventually banned forcing them to use the new Luminova indexes in all the newer #Panerai Pieces.
