Today in 1885: Mark Twain publishes the Mississippi River classic, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." This 1972 book of navigation charts guided river pilot Capt. Jack Libbey as he piloted large tows carrying about 1,600 tons of cargo on the Mississippi.
