Gloria Tial, now 17, was only 10 when her family, struggling in #poverty, began the first of several attempts to marry her off. "I was just thinking that my life has ended,”she recalls. Determined to stay in school, Gloria ran away from home. Local authorities in her native #Ghana eventually intervened, mediating with Gloria’s family and facilitating her return to #school.
