On assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック — Continuing the decade ritual, yesterday's arrival to the hallowed halls of the National Geographic for editing the Out of Eden Walk project by walking over the brass seals in a gait of deep respect and physical absorption. Now to get my shoes back on for the beguiling process of bringing a massive story down to 10-12 images in the magazine with Kim Hubbard — let the bloodletting begin!

Side note: Part II of the Out of Eden Walk, Paul Salopek's and my walk through the Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia, comes on in a few week in the July issue of National Geographic magazine.
