Trans-Canada Air Lines’ Aircargo (today, Air Canada #Cargo) was one of the world’s first dedicated freight carriers to take to the air, in the spring of 1948. It was the beginning of the Air Cargo Age, an exciting time as Canadians acquired a taste for exotic, fresh-flown items, like seafood from Vancouver or Florida oranges.
