PORTER STANDより引き続きOLIVER PEOPLESとのコラボレーション商品をご紹介します。
従来の折りたたみ式サングラスはインジェクション成型で作られていますが、このアイテムは全工程を職人によって組み上げた過去に例がないサングラスです。通常の倍以上の工程を経て、素材の美しいカラーリングとハンドメイドならではの磨きの美しさを実現しています。
※インジェクション成型とは、プラスチック樹脂を型に流し込んで、複雑な手間を省く大量生産の製法です。細かいフィッティングやレンズ交換等ができず、経年変化による修理等が困難です。

Today we would like to introduce more about our collaboration with OLIVER PEOPLES.

Usually, folded sunglass are made by injection molding, however this item is put together by craftsmens' hands for all processes, which could not be found anywhere else. Since it is hand made, there are more than twice as more processes than usual, enabling to create the fine polishing and the beautiful coloring of material.
※Injection molding is pouring in the plastic resin into a mold, which is a method used in mass production to save trouble of going through difficult processses. Eyewear made in this method does not allow you to exchange lenses or adjust it subtly, so repairs etc. by aged deterioration would be difficult.
