#HomeToKansas. In 1936 my father, Russell Clark, delivered the #Hutchinson Arrow newspaper on his Shetland pony Spunky in #NessCity Ks. He can't quite remember but he thinks he made $2.50 a week and delivered to 80 homes. This was one of his first jobs, along with shining shoes. He and my mother always worked hard, putting six kids through college and creating a nurturing home.
