A year ago today I was standing in my favorite place with my favorite person celebrating her 79th birthday & 60 years of marriage. It was a weekend I'll never forget, blissfully surrounded by family. I had no idea a year later you would be gone. Today I still celebrate your life but your absence is forever felt. My heart aches because I miss you dearly but I shall always celebrating you as long as I breathe. I remember your strength, silliness, loyalty, integrity and above all your love. I am grateful for your life and all you taught me and inspired me to be. Life is so fleeting but you made my world so wonderful, special and real.
