Breaching is one of the things Great Whites do that differentiates themselves from all other shark species. To see 2 tons of shark fly out of the water without making a sound is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. They are all about the element of surprise and come up like a missile. Interesting enough is when we put a camera in the seal decoy we see that 80% of the time they turn away at the last moment realizing that our seal is NOT real! This shows they have a far greater intelligence then once thought. This behavior is seen throughout the world but Seal Island in False Bay South Africa is by far the best place to
