This pic shows the reality of who fast food workers really are. Most are adults supporting familes. Most are women bringing in either half or all of their families income. We want people to work. They are working. They should be able to support their families ESPECIALLY when these corps are making record profits all while encouraging their workers to get public assistance to make up for what their paychecks can't cover. So in term, WE are paying for the workers expenses when the Corps they WORK for should be. Burger King is moving to Canada in order to pay lower taxes = so they can bring home more $$. Think they're passing down that extra $$ to their workers??? No. And workers are fighting back. Logic tells us, if ppl have more $$ in their pockets, the economy does better. More ppl living in middle class/working class & poverty than wealthy folks. The economy wins when the majority has more $$ to spend.
