A couple posts back I shared a pic from the "Forbidden Island" of Yap and spoke of the stone money that the Yapese natives on that island still use. Here is said "stone money". It's in a "bank", which is more or less a garden. Since the money is too large to move, and has been living in the same spot for hundreds of years, the Yapese do not touch it. Instead, they all know who owns what stone money, and where. This stone money is about as tall as I am!! It makes me really appreciate all our invisible, weightless money. ?
