Last night, I had a dinner with Mr. Munemasa Takahashi, who has been doing a project “Lost & Found”, which he salvage photographs swept away by the tsunami of 3.11 Tohoku earthquake. He salvaged, cleaned, and digitized them, and eventually returned them to families when possible. These photos became exhibitions, and now he is here with the book about the project. He is here in New York to present it at NY Art Book Fair. Check it out. It is a powerful stuff. #NYABF

昨晩、ディナーで「LOST & FOUND」という、東北の震災で津波に流された写真をサルベージ、きれいに洗って複写して、出来る時には持ち主に返却するプロジェクトをされている高橋宗正さんという方とご一緒させていただきました。これらの写真は展覧会になり、本となって、NYアートブックフェアにて出品されています。
