Abdullah Al Saadi studied literature in the Emirates and in Japan, where he came in contact with calligraphic painting and story scrolls, and his acquaintance with these diverse languages and traditions is reflected in his works. "Camar Cande's Journey" (2010-11), a chronicle of a journey the artist embarked upon in the northern UAE, is still on view in the Lobby Gallery thru Sunday #HereandElsewhere
