The 1& only Brian Green & I posed @ Kick Ass Ball 3 in Taiwan! I'm so blessed to have known this man since my early years. We're so much alike I used to be called the "Female Brian Green", not just for my skills but for my mouth too. He's a person that is gonna stick up for what he believes whether he has people to back him up or not. Sound familiar? Met him at 17, battled him when I saw him in the circle, he slayed my life & we been inseparable ever since! 11 yrs ago NY was a different time. Every 1st Thurs. of the month there was a party called the House Dance Conference I used to live by. Upstairs House Music & Downstairs Hip Hip. I was in circles with LEGENDS, learning styles the way they're supposed to be learned, in the club and not in class alll the time. In those days no one was really voguing or wacking &also learning elements of popping, house & locking in the underground scene (or any scene)! At 18/19yrs old I was subbing his wacking classes at BDC! Many people saw me and got inspired by how versatile I was and that's the connection I have with Brian. There ain't nothin the man can't do...people can say what they want but no matter what no one can take away his gift! My younger years really helped shape my life & is where I gained my respect by many Iconic people I can call friends and mentors. I've witnessed it all from Ejoe to Stretch and Link, Jazzy J to Disco Dave spending 12 yrs in the circle lol...then to being read by a legend like @sirfrankthomasofbk for not dancing house in the House Competition where I tied with this amazing Japanese cat January 2005! I'm so so grateful for all those moments because it really helped build my foundation in ways I couldn't imagine! Brian is also the reason I became a ninja. He brought me and @jjmlrf28 to Willi's Party at Crobar where I met Archie and the rest if the ninja fam. Willi instantly claimed me as Ninja when he saw me vogue! So many life changing experiences I owe so much to you Brian. Thank you for exposing me to so much and having me understand you can be GREAT and not sell out who you are because everyone else Is!
