PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にlimArt/Postがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。
本日はその中から「The Great Unreal」をご紹介いたします。
タイヨ・オノラトとニコ・クレブスがアメリカ中を何ヶ月もかけて旅をし、旅の道中で制作した写真シリーズです。
絶壁に自生するかのように生えたフライドポテト、同じ配置ながらシチュエーションが異なる内観写真など、タイトル通り「アンリアル」な光景が広がっています。
ネガティブフィルムのみで制作されたということ以外、製作過程については特別言及していないことが、彼らの作品を神秘的な謎解きのようにみせています。

At PORTER STAND we carry photobook selected by limArt/POST under a concept of "TRIP".
Among the selections, today we would like to introduce "The Great Unreal".
Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs traveled across the US for many months, and these photos were taken during their journey.
As in the title, there are many "unreal" scenes in this book, such as a fried potato growing in the wild on a cliff, an introspective photo with different situations but in the same position etc.
The only information we know is that they have made this only by a
negative film. They have not mentioned about how they were able to create the unrealness, which makes it to be as if it's a mysterious puzzle.
