Taronga Western Plains Zoo is celebrating the birth of its second giraffe calf this year! Keepers have named the female calf Ajali (pronounced A-jah-lee), which is Swahili for destiny. Ajali’s mother Tuli is a very experienced mum and is displaying all the right maternal behaviours. The newest addition to the giraffe herd is settling in well alongside young male calf, Nkosi, who was born in August #tarongawesternplainszoo
