The largest carnivore to ever walk the earth was a 50 foot long spinosaur discovered recently in Morocco. The original fossils were found 100 years ago by German paleontologist Ernst Stromer, and accidentally blown up by the allies during Munich bombing runs in World War II. See the amazing story of how these new fossils were found, looted, excavated, recovered and reconstructed, in the Nova film, Bigger than T. Rex, on PBS tonight at 9PM EST.
