On view now in ZERO, see artist Günther Uecker's "New York Dancer I" 1965 come alive in this video. Inspired by the energy of New York City, Uecker took his signature motif of nails hammered to canvas and inverted it in this piece, affixing the canvas to an armature, and attached a motor to create movement.
