#RunTheJewels in Atlanta, Georgia. This was taken during a video shoot for Run the Jewels recently. Killer Mike was driving a prop ambulance with its lights firing, led by a rent-a-cop at 80 mph! We kept blowing through lights like it was a real emergency. Mike lost everyone in the crew except me and his manager Joe. We ended up over at the MARTA station in Vine City. It was 3 a.m. The whole situation was surreal. Mike got out of the ambulance and just walked over by me and sat down and lit up. He didn’t say much for a few minutes, then he just cracked this big smile. I’ve known Mike for years and you could tell that shooting that video and Run the Jewels were true gifts to him.
